What is the average thickness Marwood saws live edge hardwood slabs to?

The live edge hardwood slabs and hardwood cookies that we saw at Marwood average a thickness of 1 inch to 4 inches. Once they are sanded, if they are, the end product varies. If you need any thicker or thinner cuts of hardwood slabs, contact us and speak to a Marwood team member about the options available.

The options of use for live edge hardwood slabs and hardwood cookies are endless. Most often, hardwood slabs are used for table tops, dresser tops, counter tops, and bar tops. We’ve seen Marwood customers mount hardwood slabs on top of bases or legs to make their own pieces of furniture. We’ve also seen woodworkers take live edge hardwood slabs and mount them directly onto walls for bathroom vanities and work benches.  Hardwood cookies are most often used for round table tops.
