A slightly softer variation of classic Maple, named for the unique streaks of color accenting the boards of these delectable beauties. Yes, delectable. The streaks of color are thanks to the hard work of hungry Ambrosia Beetles that leave a thankfully beautiful trail of Ambrosia Fungi, staining the surrounding wood in their wake. Don’t worry, none of them will be joining you for dinner. Our kilns make sure of that. Considering “ambrosia” was also the chosen food of the Greek gods and was believed to be what gifted them their immortality, it seems fitting that these live edge slabs are always in style. The longevity of their beauty withstands the tests of time, and makes an excellent conversation table as you gather to eat and drink.

Marwood Manufacturing’s Live Edge Slabs can always be counted on to be kiln dried, planed flat, and sanded to 80 grit unless we tell you otherwise. We even already included this in the price, only change to expect is if you need it shipped. Freight is an additional charge, but in-store pick up is, of course, free.
