Cherry
Cherry is another wood that, like walnut, is found in North America. Where Walnut is a deep brown, Cherry has a pinkish-tint to the wood that darkens to rich red with age. Cherry’s grain is usually easy to work by hand or with power tools. Cherry is well-known as one of the overall best woods to work with. Cherry is often seen on cabinets and finer furniture – such as dining room sets and grandfather clocks.
